I am originally from England but for six years now I have been living and working in Burkina Faso (West Africa) as a Christian missionary among the Fulani, a semi-nomadic herding people. Last year I got married and was joined here by my lovely wife Charlie.

I am hoping to set up a community radio station which will broadcast in Fulfulde, the language of the Fulani. I'm not having much success at that, I'm afraid (trying to get a broadcasting permit without paying any bribes!)

In my spare time, I write children's fiction. My author site has information about my books, as well as reviews, extracts, interviews and lots of free stuff.
